Show your support and concern for Alabama’s waterways by participating in the 24th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup scheduled from 8:00 a.m. until noon.  You or your organization can make a difference by volunteering to clean up our cherished coastal area. In its twenty-three year effort to clean up the coast, over 61,513 volunteers have removed 1,169,844 pounds of trash from 3,917 miles of shoreline. Supplies are limited. On the day of the event, come prepared with sunscreen, a hat, gloves, shoes and lots of water.

The year is 1938.  It's a Saturday night in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, and the Reverend Oglethorpe has invited the Sanders Family Singers to provide an upliftin' evening of singin' and witnessin'.  The audience is invited to pull up a pew and join in the rollicking good time.  More than two dozen songs, many of them vintage pop hymns, and hilarious stories from the more or less devout Sanders family, provide a richly entertaining evening that will have the audience clapping, singing, laughing and cheering.
